
Jordan Kramer was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended a magnet art school in Charlotte where she was first introduced to ceramics. Her exploration into the medium continued when she took an introduction to ceramics course at Queens University of Charlotte. It was through those courses that she was introduced to wood firing and the alluring qualities of atmospheric firings. In the Spring of 2020, she received her BA in Arts Leadership and Administration where she completed a thesis on the Stonewall Riots and its place in history as a turning point for Queer visualization in museum and gallery representation. In the Spring of 2021, she completed her BA in studio art where her focus was in sculptural ceramics. She is currently a long-term Artist in Residence at the Morean Center for Clay in St. Petersburg, Florida.
